Massimo Fedel graduated in Electronic Engineering from the University of Padova (Italy) in 1999. Since 2004, his research has primarily focused on tunable laser absorption spectroscopy, and he has made significant contributions to this field. These contributions include:
Development of a spectroscopic laser apparatus and method for the non-destructive monitoring of oxygen in vials for pharmaceutical applications.
Creation of a spectroscopic device for measuring gas pressure and carbon dioxide concentration inside sealed containers.
Massimo is a co-founder of the spin-off company Lpro srl. In his current role as a research scientist at the CNR Institute of Photonics and Nanotechnologies in Padova, he mainly focuses on the development of gas sensors based on infrared spectroscopy and mid-infrared optical metrology.
