The Workshop Photonics4 Bio-Diagnostics: photonics technologies for the bio-medical sector is a meeting and matching opportunity for the main actors along the value chain of photonics and Bio-Medical & Health sectors to discuss the innovation opportunities brought by Photonics as a Key Enabling Technology
It is organized by the Italian photonics technology platform, AEIT-CORIFI in collaboration with CNR-IFN, CNR-ISMN, ART-ER, R2B, SIMPLER|Enterprise Europe Network and it is supported by the EC through the HorizonEurope – Photonics PPP, project Phorwards21.
Co-located with R2B-Research to Business 2025 – 20°Edizione del Salone della Ricerca e delle Competenze per l’Innovazione (www.rdueb.it/en/) and Online Innovat&Match Brokerage Event June 24th-26th 2025 (Topics: HEALTH AND BIOTECH) (www.b2match.com/e/innovatmatch-2025)

It will be hosted at Bologna Fiere – Pavillion 21, on June 26th from 13:00 to 17:00 am.

The event addresses:
– Operators in the biomedical sector, interested in innovating through the use of photonics and digital technologies
– SMEs and start-ups manufacturing photonic technologies
– Clusters, Agencies and competence centers
– Investors and financing bodies
Objectives are:
– To Discuss the opportunities for strengthening, development and innovation in the bio-medical sector, made possible by the use of photonic technologies
– To Establish and strengthen synergies and collaborations between photonic technology producers and end users
– To Promote investment opportunities for photonics
