Lorenzo Clemente SPINELLI

Lorenzo Spinelli received the M.S. and Ph.D degrees in Physics from the Università degli Studi of Milan, Italy, in 1994 and 1999, respectively. Since 1999 he has been a Post-Doc with the Department of Physics at theUniversità degli Studi of Milan. He devoted his research activity to the study of structures developing in the section of broad area radiation beams. In particular he focussed his attention to Cavity Solitons, which are stationary self-organised bright intensity peaks over a homogeneous background. In 2001 he became a researcher of the Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche, performing his research activity at the Department of Physics of the Politecnico of Milan. His research interests moved to the study of photon migration in turbid media for biomedical applications as optical biopsy and imaging.
