PEOPLE

Tersilla Virgili  received the Master degree  in Physics from Università of Bologna, Italy, in 1996, and the Ph.D. degree in Physics from University of Sheffield, under the supervision of Prof. DDC Bradley in 2000. Since December 2001 she has a permanent position as a researcher at the Institute of Photonics and Nanotechnologies (IFN) of the Italian National Research Council (CNR) in Milan.
She is co-author of  more then 60 research papers in international journals. Her current research interests include ultrafast spectr0scopy, photophysics of organic and inorganic compounds, microcavity working in weak and strong coupling regime. Since 2003 she is also a contract Physics Professor in Politecnico di Milano.
